  • September 17, Board Meeting, noon at United Way Office.
  • 2009/2010 Campaign in full swing!
  • October 1:  Community Resource Fair at the Downtown Mall.  In co-operation with CareerLink. 
  • Make A Difference Day:  October 17, 2009.
  • Make A Difference Day Skilled Supervisors meeting: September 1 at 6pm at Hoss's Restaurant.
  • Make A Difference Day committee meeting September 3 at 7:30 am at United Way Office.

  • Campaign supplies are available, please call the office at 337-1251 to order pledge cards, brochures, fact sheets, pins, pens and to request a speaker for an employee presentation.
  • Watch for information on The Benefit Bank, low-income families and seniors will be able to file federal income taxes for free.  We are in the process of training at the present time.

  • Need help paying for medicine?  Call 1-888-477-2669, Partnership for Prescription Assistance.  If you don't have prescription coverage and can't afford your medicines, call or go to www.pparx.org.  More than 2,500 brand-name and generic medicines are covered. 
  • Did you know the Center For Family Services offers help with food, clothing, housing counseling and heating assistance.  337-8450
  • Coalition on Housing Needs operates a furniture closet.  If you have a donation or a need, call 337-4380.
  • Community Health Services provides medical transportation to qualified individuals.  Call for more information 333-7070.
